Abbey is a Qualified Mental Health Specialist with experience in adolescent residential treatment and substance use recovery. She uses a client-centered approach, focusing on building strong, authentic therapeutic relationships as the foundation for healing and growth.

Abbey’s specializes in groups and building tools to help manage depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and challenges related to LGBTQ+ identity. She is passionate about creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel truly seen and supported.

With compassion, collaboration, and the use of evidence-based practices, Abbey helps clients navigate difficult emotions, build resilience, and work toward lasting, meaningful change.

Kyrsten R. Adley, Licensed Professional Counselor  in Ohio


Kyrsten is a compassionate and creative clinician who uses a client-centered approach to support individuals through life’s challenges. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she tailors her work to meet each person’s unique needs.

Kyrsten has a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Crisis and Trauma from Walden University.

She has experience working with youth in residential and correctional settings, as well as in community mental health. Her focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, LGBTQ+ relationships, and crisis support. Kyrsten enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, often incorporating creative expression and emotional regulation.

She is currently pursuing independent licensure and certification in OCD treatment.

Private pay has many benefits including flexible scheduling , no insurance which equals less documentation, and this results in more quality time to focus on empowering you and building healthy relationships. A mental health diagnosis will not be mandatory with self pay clients and will not be submitted to your insurance, and more services are allowed without restrictions such as phone, video or in person.
